Return Policy

Unwashed, unworn, or defective merchandise may be returned to us within 14 days of original purchase date. We require valid identification when processing all returns and exchanges without an original receipt. Valid identification is also required to receive or redeem a non-transferable merchandise certificate or mail check.

Returns With an Original Sales Receipt
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid or a merchandise exchange when returned within 14 days of the purchase date. Merchandise returned more than 14days after the purchase date will not be eligible for a return.

Online refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid or merchandise exchange when returned within 14 days of the invoice date. A mail check may be issued when original form of payment is unavailable for credit.

Returns Without a Receipt
Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise certificate by mail for the current selling price. We require valid identification when processing all returns and exchanges without an original receipt.

Online Refunds - Without the online invoice the customer will adhere to the return policy stated in the store. Swimwear Returns
All swimwear returns must have the original price tags and hygienic liner intact to be eligible for a return.

Price Adjustments
Stores offer a one-time price adjustment when an original sales receipt is presented within 14 days of date of purchase. Online offers a one-time price adjustment within 14 days from invoice date.

Lost or Stolen GiftCards
To report a lost or stolen Flying Squirrel Gift Certificate, call 718.218.7775. An original sales receipt or gift receipt is required to replace the remaining balance of a lost or stolen Flying Squirrel Gift Certificate.

Returning or Exchanging Items by Mail

  1. Use the enclosed return form in your shipment.
  2. Indicate the item(s) that you are returning or exchanging on the return form and note the reason why.
  3. Indicate if you want us to credit the card used to place the order or send you a refund check. If you'd like an exchange, let us know what you want by filling in the reverse side of the return form. We will pay the costs for shipping the exchange order.
  4. Circle the name and address where we should send the check or exchange. If you want it sent to a different address, please complete the box on the reverse side of the return form.
  5. Pack and seal your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include the return form. We've provided a return label as part of the return form. Packages must be returned prepaid -- we do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

We will only refund shipping charges if we've sent the wrong item, or if the item sent is defective.

Credit Card Refunds
On returns, we can only credit the credit card used for the original purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.
